*4 chicken breasts
*1 can tomato sauce
*1 medium onion, chopped
*2 garlic cloves, minced
*1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
*1/8 teaspoon pepper
*2 tablespoons vegetable oil
*8oz sliced mushrooms
*1/4c red wine/chicken stock
*1 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
*pinch of salt
*hot cooked spaghetti
1. in medium skillet, brown chicken in oil. move to slow cooker.
2. in a bowl combine tomato sauce, mushroom, onion, stock, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper. pour over chicken in slow cooker.
3. cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours. serve over spaghetti.
serves: 4
prep time: 10 minutes
total time: 5 hours 10 miutes
